Weekend Retreat - Crop

Back from a great weekend with the Association 'Scrap en Bretane' at the Beg Porz holiday village. Very happy to have been invited as their tutor for the fifth time! Always fun and friendship, a good food and treats and beautiful views. Thank you to the whole team for inviting me and for all the organization, thank you to all the participants of the welcome given to my project and the shop.

De retour après un super weekend avec l’asso Scrap en Bretagne au domaine de Beg Porz. Très heureux d'être leur animatrice pour la cinquième fois! Toujours la convivialité et l'amitié, beaucoup de gourmandises et des belles vus. Merci à toute l'équipe pour m’inviter et pour toute l’organisation, merci à toutes les participantes de l'accueil donné à mon petit projet et à la boutique.

Album 'Jours heureux en images'

Voici quelques photos de l'album que j'ai fait en utilisant la collection 'Cliché' de Lorelai Design. J'ai fait deux crops de cet album pour les associations 'Bannana Scrap' et Scrap en Bretagne plus tôt dans l'année. J'ai travaillé avec ces deux associations depuis quelques années et c'est toujours un vrai plaisir de partager ces jolies moments ensemble.

Here are some photos of the album I made using the 'Cliché' collection from Lorelai Design. I did two crops for the scrapbooking associations Bannana Scrap and Scrap en Bretagne earlier in the year. I have worked with these associations for some years now and it is always great fun to get together.

 

Je voudrais toujours que mes groupes apprennent ou pratiquent quelque chose d'un peu différent dans mes ateliers et l'une des techniques que j'ai partagées cette fois était d'utiliser des encres d'alcool pour colorier les feuilles de papier alu que nous avons ensuite découpées pour le titre.

I always like my groups to learn or practice something a bit different in my crops and  one of the techniques that I shared this time was using alcohol inks to colour foil which we then die cut for the title.

L'album est 20 x 25 cm.

Road Book - Carnet de Route

Summer has finished and it is high time I shared some recent projects so I'll start with this road book that I made back some months ago. I love the way that the pen holds the book closed, and lots of pockets for collecting holiday bits and pieces: Very practical! It's not the one I finally travelled with but I'll show that in another post. This was adapted from an original challenge on the Coeur de scrap forum...

L'été a terminé et il est temps que j'ai partagé des projets, alors je vais commencer par ce 'road book' (carnet de voyage) que j'ai réalisé il y a quelques mois. J'aime la façon dont le stylo garde le livre fermé: Très pratique! Et beaucoup de poches pour collecter des petits souvenirs de vacances.Ce n'est pas celui avec qui j'ai finalement voyagé, mais je le montrerai dans un autre article. Ceci a été adapté d'un défi sur le forum Coeur de Scrap...

Mes devoirs #1 - Pocket Letter

I hadn't made a pocket letter before although they are popular here in France. So, when it was suggested we could make a pocket letter over the summer holiday to exchange in September, I was up for giving it a go: Names were drawn and I asked my recipient what colour scheme she'd like: Red and grey: Not at all my colours but I am happy with the result and, more importantly, she liked it! It had lots of little presents stuffed in the back of the pockets.

Je ne l'avais pas fait une 'Pocket Letter' (lettre des poches) avant même si elles sont populaires. Donc, quand il a été suggéré que nous pourrions faire un echange pendant les vacances d'été j'ai pris part. Quand les noms ont été tirés, je demandai à mon destinataire des couleurs qu'elle aimerait: Rouge et gris: Pas du tout mes couleurs mais je suis content du résultat et plus important encore, elle l'aimait! Il y avait beaucoup de petits cadeaux cachés dans des poches.

Tournez en rond

I recently saw a friend in the process of creating a fabulous page and she shared her inspiration source from this old challenge. Here is my version with lots of little stamps and embellishments and some larger transparent stamps curved on the acrylic block so that they follow the circle.

J'ai vu récemment un ami en cours d' créer une page superbe et elle a partagé sa source d'inspiration: cet ancien défi. Voici ma version avec beaucoup de petits tampons, des petits embellissements et des grands tampons transparents courbés sur le bloc acrylique afin qu'ils suivent le cercle.

I added little spots of ink with the pipe from a Dylusions spray and the dropper in the Izink bottles.

J'ai ajouté de petites taches d'encre avec le tuyau d'un spray Dylusions et le compte-gouttes dans les bouteilles d'Izink.
