Adventures in art journalling

It's been two weeks since I did a crop with Manuéla Jamet - photos of the day, including of my shop and I, are on the Carhaix'ment scrap blog. However, no one finished the project, creating an art journal, on the day and I still haven't. So, for now, here are just a few photos of the back of the journal (label on the front isn't finished but otherwise it is similar) and 2 pages that I'm considering finished.

The covers are made of chipboard with thinner card strips glued on then gessoed, painted, stenciled, sponged with contrasting paint, stamped with black Archival ink and detailed with Neo-colour II and a water brush.
The pages are thinly painted with different colours and then details added with more paint, stenciling, stamping, hand writing, doodling, and whatever else you fancy. They are edged with Black Soot Distress Ink.

I still have 5 pages to finish so when I get the time...
