Another kind of challenge !

I was asked to make a get well card, big...A4... so several people can write in it, and I'm told what writing they want on the front. In agreeing, I asked what they would like on the card as a theme and, after a moment's pause, as I am just about to suggest flowers (easy enough), the response is 'African'!!! So an A4, African-themed, get-well card, with the appropriate French text ...

Delivered it today and got a good response so I'm happy. In fact, it was nice to do something a bit unusual.
Used: 2 x A4 cream hammered card held together with a spine of brown card punched with Fiskars diamond border punch; Gold diamond textured paper from The Papermill Shop; other layers and African design peel-offs of unknown origin from my stash & Making Memories mini brads. Coloured the images with H2Os and made a bow from raffia. Text printed from computer. Lined the card with 2 x A4 matching cream hammered paper.

  1. Wow - fantastic! I can't imagine making an A4 sized card, let alone an African themed one!! Well done for coming up with such a fab one!!

  2. I agree with Jo. Wouldn't know where to start with an A4 sized card. Well done you.

  3. Great card. Well done, I've never attempted anything like this - you have done it so well! :-) xxx

  4. Fab card Karen! Any chance you could e-mail me please (address in my Profile) re: SBS-13 a.s.a.p.? Thanks.

  5. Gorgeous card Karen and I also have never done an A4 card

  6. Wow...that turned out great!...I might have been stumped at the African theme...but great job!
