Mes devoirs #1 - Pocket Letter

I hadn't made a pocket letter before although they are popular here in France. So, when it was suggested we could make a pocket letter over the summer holiday to exchange in September, I was up for giving it a go: Names were drawn and I asked my recipient what colour scheme she'd like: Red and grey: Not at all my colours but I am happy with the result and, more importantly, she liked it! It had lots of little presents stuffed in the back of the pockets.

Je ne l'avais pas fait une 'Pocket Letter' (lettre des poches) avant même si elles sont populaires. Donc, quand il a été suggéré que nous pourrions faire un echange pendant les vacances d'été j'ai pris part. Quand les noms ont été tirés, je demandai à mon destinataire des couleurs qu'elle aimerait: Rouge et gris: Pas du tout mes couleurs mais je suis content du résultat et plus important encore, elle l'aimait! Il y avait beaucoup de petits cadeaux cachés dans des poches.

Salbris 2014

The first weekend of October I go to Salbris (about 2 hours south of Paris) with many of the others on the Coeur de Scrap forum (French). Here's a page and accompanying Project Life page layout to celebrate the weekend and capture some of the moments in the workshop I taught (more on that later). I love mixing full page and pocket pages: Best of both worlds. The bright green was inspired by the walls in the room we were using but I knocked it back with gesso and layers of stamping. I challenged my scrapbooking groups to use circles in one of their sessions so that dictated the shapes.
I used: Bazzill card, gesso, Tim Holtz, PaperArtsy and Fiskars stamps, Cuttlebug and Sizzix alphabets, gelatos, buttons, epoxy dots and Perfect Pearls Black Onyx

Chaque premier weekend d'octobre je vais à Salbris (41) avec mes amis du forum Coeur de Scrap. Voici une page et une page 'Project Life' de célébrer le week-end et capturer certains moments de l'atelier que j'ai donné (à suivre). J'adore de mélanger les pages 30x30 avec les Project Life. J'ai partiellement caché le fond du vert, inspiré par les murs dans la salle, avec du gesso et les tamponnages. J'ai donné le défi 'jeu de rondes' à mes groupes dans un cours du scrapbooking donc beaucoup de rondes sur la mienne!
J'ai utilisé: Bazzill vert et noir, gesso, tampons de Tim Holtz, PaperArtsy et Fiskars, alphabets de Cuttlebug et Sizzix, gelatos, boutons, pois epoxy et Perfect Pearls Black Onyx.
